Here we go!

So this is the christening of my blog! Should I break a bottle over my laptop???

The sweet memories of my boys today.

Marshal is so friendly.  As a family we went to the lady Marauders (MUHS) varsity basketball game.  Having grown up in youth ministry with mom and dad, he feels quite comfortable with teenagers.  He was trotting up and down scores of bleachers saying hi and waving his cute floppy-handed wave to complete strangers.  Behind the bench was a row of high rollers (us in our new double stroller, and a wonderfully nice gentleman in an electric wheelchair).  Marshal, in his precious friendliness, was to going up to the wheelchair-bound man and talking to him in his rapid and indistinguishable toddler dialect.  This man was being very gracious and interacting with Marshal kindly.  In the middle of M's one-sided conversation he started grabbing the wheelchair's directional joystick!!! Lucky for ALL OF US the instrument was disabled.  Could you imagine? Marshal could have driven him right through the bench and onto the court! You are so sweet Marshal Jay.  I'm thankful for your sweet spirit that loves all people equally.

Mason, the full-gum grinner.  Mason's newest developmental marker??? SMILES! He is becoming so interactive! He knows what he wants to look at (sometimes mom and dad, sometimes the end of his nose) and will follow his gaze purposefully.  When that gaze lands on a smiling admirer, M repays the gesture with a HUGE GUMMY SMILE.  It melts my heart instantly.  It's almost as if he's telling me he loves me... loves me with a full-gummed grin.
