I have to say, looking back at the story of "us," - I had no idea what I was getting into! In a good way! Marriage is hard, really hard. When you decide to get married at 19, you don't really know what you're doing. And THIS is one of the areas I can fully see the hand of God working in our lives. Through all the ups and downs of being man and wife, I can honestly say that my husband was created especially for me, and I for him. I love him more today than I ever did in the early years of our relationship. As I know him better each day, I learn that he is the most amazing man I have ever met. His is genuinely good. He does what is right, even when it's not popular. He is the hardest working person I have ever known. He is honest. He cares about people. He goes out of his way to help. He is sacrificial. He's hot too.
Since becoming parents, I have learned that he is also a wonderful daddy. He is consistent, fair, fun, and full of affection and patience toward our children.
Some people would say we lucked out, that we're lucky to have been married so young and still be in love. I believe that love doesn't come easy, it has to be worked at, cultivated, and developed. I also believe God blessed us with each other and HE helps us live each day of this wonderful adventure.
