out some direction for the year.
But better late than never I guess!
1.)
2.) Set goals that are important to me,
but give myself room for imperfections.
3.) Continue goals as long as they
bring fulfillment/purpose to my life,
and develop me for the better;
don't continue them just to mark them off a list.
4.) Read some Bible everyday.
5.) Read a medical journal article everyday.
6.) Not be on my phone (calls, texts, emails, games, FB...)
while my kids are awake.
7.) Become more comfortable and
confident with who I am.
8.) Keep learning to not concern myself
with other people's opinions of me.
(Don't you think that's a good one?!? Oh, wait...)
9.) Seek God for some new and big dreams.
10.) Get more sleep.
11.) Go on more dates.
12.) Practice the art of shutting my mouth.
13.) Give people the benefit of the doubt.
14.) Worship more with my family around the piano.
15.) Take a picture a day, a 2013 photo book.
16.) Pay off student loans.
17.) Remember people's names.
18.) When I find myself thinking good about someone,
find a way to tell them.
19.) Identify key traits in people who do things well,
and learn from them.
20.) Encourage other moms every chance possible.
21.) Mentor girls.
22.) Make a piano Christmas CD.
23.) Choose to not feel guilty.
Allow my best to be good enough.
24.) Don't give my opinion unless asked for it.
25.) Pray
Will this be a checkable list? Probably not.
But it's genuine none the less.
